“We all are carved from the same wood” is a strong message, that usually needs no further interpretation. A connection of any kind and any nature is still the most important thing that unites us humans and keeps us together. Especially nowadays it is important to get in touch with our fellow human beings, to talk, to communicate and to exchange ideas face to face. This is the basis for peaceful coexistence, the guarantee of tolerance and mutual respect, regardless of the origin and historical background of each individual. This is what this sculpture stands for: “CONNECTION” It is carved from a trunk of robinia wood; first divided and then rearranged again. A connection forever.
